Day Fifteen

Big decision. No more photos. I think that I have become so used to the sight of my belly that a part of me has given up on the idea of change. Yesterday was a bad day for eating. I'm not confident about today either.

Day Twelve

Had a bad afternoon yesterday which turned into a bad evening for eating. Had a binge today at McDonalds after work. Hey ho. I'm still here and I still have my health so I can't grumble.

Day Fourteen

Went spinning yesterday. I was ok with my eating until I had a sudden urge to buy a cake from the work canteen. Should have bought something that I could put into WLR. It was an oddly shaped flapjake and I had no idea how to account for it.

Day Eleven

A very good day yesterday, which involved a long walk with my hiking group from Pateley Bridge and lunch at Brimham Rocks. I tracked all my eating and drinking (2.5 pints of pale ale) and was within my Weight Loss Resources target.

Day Ten

Had a good day until evening when I had 225g of chocolates. Not ideal but I'd had a stressful 24 hours. A bit worried about my fluid intake. Had 5 cans of Pepsi Max during the day.

Day Nine

Fantastic day yesterday. Tracked my eating and was within my Weight Loss Resources calorie limit. I also went to a spinning class.

Day Eight

Good day yesterday. I put on calories overall but other good things happened:
1. Found a punchbag at the gym and enjoyed slugging the hell out of it for ten minutes
2. Had a beer at the pub (with some very nice people) but controlled the impact of the sugar rush and didn't binge on food
3. Went for a brisk walk at lunch
4. Tracked all my eating - for the first time in my new job

Day Seven

Not a great day yesterday. There's something about being at my new work that makes me binge. Yesterday's binge involved 4 mince pies and a lot of crisps. Prolonged loo visits ensued.

Day Six

Good day yesterday.
Tracked all my eating and was within my Weight Loss Resources calorie allowance.

Food:

1. Kippers on rye bread
2. Lentil dhal with rice noodles
3. Mulligatawny soup with brown rice

Day Five


Not a good day yesterday. Barely slept after New Year's Eve, body craved sugar, went to the Co-op store and then it all went rather wrong. I felt far worse after the food binge than I had done wehn I woke up.

I've got to do something about my camera tripod as well!

Day Four

Yesterday featured a 7.5 mile walk followed by a lot of Mexican food and merriment. A really good day physically and socially. Nutritionally, it was always going to be less than brilliant. Onwards and upwards into 2012!
